The chair for Sociology of Africa @ 14th European Summer School for the Anthropology of Development and Social Dynamics (in Bayreuth)

This week the 14th edition of the European Summer School for the Anthropology of Development and Social Dynamics took place in Bayreuth. The Summer School offers PhD students a platform to present their research. Besides some young researchers from Bayreuth, doctoral students from eight European universities were represented.
As members of our chair, PhD student Yifan Mia Yang was involved with the presentation "Putting State-mandated Local Development into practice: business-society relations in Chinese-operated mining zones" and Prof. Dr. Jana Hönke as commentator.
