The BMBF-funded network Conflicts.Meanings.Transitions is inviting for its 2nd Networking Workshop for Peace and Conflict Research in Bavaria.

The workshop “Postkoloniale Erinnerung und Zeitgeschichte” (Postcolonial Memory and Contemporary History) aims to bring together researchers of history and social sciences and involve practitioners, e.g. from educational institutions and memorial sites. The inter/transdisciplinary discussions will center on contestations over the forms and content of postcolonial memory, also regarding the role of contemporary history research.
