In the fourth session of the Global Sociology and Politics Colloquium, Sara Dezalay from the University of Cardiff will speak about Africa's Lawyers: From Imperial Agents to Legal Brokers in Global Markets.
Sarah Dezalay is a Senior Lecturer at the Cardiff School of Law and Politics. Her work focuses on the role of law and lawyers in global governance. Anchored in political sociology, her research looks at transnational judicial responses to conflict; the relationship between law and diplomacy in global governance; and the position of Africa in globalization.
